Salem’s April Gamblin Charged with Murder

Salem Police say 24-year-old April Gamblin of Salem has been charged with the murder of 32-year-old Joshua Tate. They had been in a domestic relationship for a number of years.  An autopsy performed yesterday confirmed Tate died of a gunshot wound.

Earlier yesterday, Salem Police officers were dispatched to a residence on Polo Court Southeast on a report of a possible shooting. Gamblin was suffering from injuries and transported to Salem Health. They found Tate’s body in the house.

Gamblin is currently being held at the Marion County Correctional Facility and will be arraigned today at 3:00 p.m. at the Marion County Court Annex, 4000 Aumsville Hwy, Salem, OR 97317.
