Fire crews responded to a truck fire around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning on I-5 Northbound.
According to ODOT, the incident at milepost 263 was mostly extinguished by 7:30 a.m. but morning commute traffic and blocked lanes resulted in heavy traffic delays in the area north of the Chemawa Road NE interchange.
Two other accidents occurred in the same area adding to the backup.
All lanes were reopened by 8 a.m.
There were no reports of injuries.
