Late night returns from yesterday’s Special Election show Polk County approved the Polk County Public Safety Local Option Tax Re-authorization. 68 percent of the voters approved the safety option.
Marty Heyen, Satya Chantragiri and Daniel Bethell appear to have won Director positions on the Salem Keizer School Board.
Turnout was low for both Marion and Polk counties. Just 19-point-three percent voted in Marion County and approximately 25 percent of eligible voters voted in Polk county.
