OSP Looking for Witnesses in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 5 in Linn County

On Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at approximately 7:29 P.M. Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a motorcycle crash southbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 216.

Preliminary investigation revealed a black 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Vincent Wolford (56) of Lebanon, was southbound when for unknown reasons it crashed and came to rest on the shoulder.

Wolford was struck by a passing vehicle, possibly a Commercial Motor Vehicle, that did not stop at the scene.
OSP is asking any witnesses or anyone with information regarding this crash to contact the Oregon State Police Northern Command Center at 1-800-442-0776 or OSP and refer to case #SP19-190533.

OSP was assisted at the scene by the Oregon Department of Transportation and the Halsey Fire Department.
