Salem, Ore. — The City of Salem is continuing its cloth mask collection drive until further notice, with a single Wednesday drop-off location.

Masks are being collected every Wednesday, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Salem Fire Training Division, 2742 25th Street SE.

The May 6 collection brought in 220 masks to add to the 2,966 already collected.

These masks continue to serve nonprofit and service organizations in the Salem area. They have gone to organizations including Willamette Valley Hospice, Union Gospel Mission, Center for Hope & Safety, Mano a Mano, Church in the Park, and Marion and Polk Early Learning Hub.

We thank the many people who have contributed to this mask drive.
