On June 29th, 2020, at approximately 1:20am, Salem Police officers responded to the 2000 block of Lancaster Dr NE on a report of a beer theft at a nearby 7/11 convenience store. A short time later, officers in the area of the theft were contacted by multiple victims, who reported they were robbed and their property stolen. The victims were able to provide a description of the suspects, which matched the description of the suspects in the earlier beer theft. Both victims were transported to the hospital by medics and were treated for potential serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The crime scene was located nearby which further connected the robbery suspects to the suspects who committed the theft of the beer from the 7/11.
