Oregon State Police – 07/09/20 11:17 AM
On July 9, 2020 at approximately 12:23 A.M., an Oregon State Police Trooper contacted the operator a white Chevrolet Suburban towing a 25-foot travel trailer for a hazardous safety violation on Interstate-5 near Kuebler Blvd (milepost 252).
The operator, Stephanie Jones (36), was taken into custody for parole violation warrant.
Troopers developed information regarding a property dispute between Jones and other parties which occurred in or near the Wal-Mart parking lot on Turner Road in Salem. The dispute is believed to have involved at least two vehicles, Jones Suburban and a silver Chevrolet Silverado four-door pickup.

On July 9, 2020 at approximately 1:54 A.M., Oregon State Police Troopers responded to a call where a person reported a vehicle chasing them on Interstate 5 southbound near the Delaney Road exit, and possibly firing gunshots. The suspect vehicle was described as a lifted grey Ford F-350 four-door pickup with a headache rack and the complainant’s vehicle is described as a silver Chevrolet Silverado four-door pickup with a silver truck box.
The suspect vehicle stopped chasing the complainant near milepost 238 southbound and was located shortly after at the Love’s Travel Stop off Exit 238.
The two occupants of the Ford F-350, Nathan Younger (28 ) and Christopher Smith (36), were detained and later lodged at the Marion County Jail on unrelated probation violation detainers. The Chevrolet Silverado and occupants were contacted in Albany and interviewed by the Albany Police Department. Two adult occupants and a two year-old child were unharmed.
