On Sunday, March 14, 2021, at approximately 7:00 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle crash on Hwy 99E near milepost 39.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford Focus, operated by Maria Egoroff (71) of Salem, was southbound and turned left, into a private driveway, in front of a northbound Suzuki motorcycle operated by Jeffrey Garza (40) of Woodburn.
Garza sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
OSP was assisted by Woodburn Fire Department, Woodburn Ambulance, and ODOT.
