Time is running out for your input on Salem’s Climate Action Plan. You have a chance through March 28th to weigh in on which strategies the city should include in a climate action plan. The survey asks questions about planned objectives like increasing energy efficiency, decreasing reliance on fossil fuels and expanding public infrastructure. The survey is intended to help the city determine which ideas are most important to include in the climate action plan through “yes,” “unsure” or “no” questions about bus routes, bike networks or requiring certain standards for new development.
