Deputies Investigating Bomb Threat in St. Paul

At about 10:15 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021, staff at the St. Paul High School notified the Marion County Sheriff’s Office a bomb threat for the school had been received. Deputies onsite at the school and staff evacuated students as a safety precaution. The St. Paul School District notified parents of evacuated students and will share information on impacts to school operations. By 12:55pm, Deputies had cleared from the school after finding no device. The Sheriff’s Office does not anticipate releasing additional information at this time due to the open investigation. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says the quick response by school staff to ensure student safety was top notch.
