Group Gathering Signatures to Recall Three Salem-Keizer School Board Members

Saying schools should be free from political or personal agendas, a community group, Salem-Keizer Education First, is asking for your support in recalling three Salem-Keizer school board members. They are demanding that students once again be taught the fundamentals like reading, writing, math, history, and science and not indoctrination.

Salem-Keizer education first is asking interested individuals to sign a petition to recall three Salem-Keizer school board members Oswaldo Avila, Ashley Carson-Cottingham, and Karina Guzman-Ortiz.

They need a minimum of 16,000 signatures but want to gather 20,000.

The public can come to sign the petitions, turn in completed petitions, and pick up new petitions at 752 Hawthorn Ave NE, Salem OR 97301

Tue & Thur-   3:00pm-5:00pm

Friday- 9:am-2pm

Oct. 9th 1:30pm-4:30pm

They will also be at the “Save Our State” rally at the Oregon State Capitol Saturday, Oct. 8th, 12:00pm-4:00 pm
