At approximately 2:28 p.m. on Sunday, SW Polk Fire District was dispatched to a vegetation fire on Clow Corner Road. The first crews arrived on scene at 2:42 p.m. to approximately a half-acre fire, spreading toward a neighboring residence. They were able to quickly place water on the fire and it was contained by 2:48 p.m., preventing spread to surrounding structures. No injuries were reported.
