April 8, 2023, at about 11:45pm, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a call of shots being fired in the area the 17000 block of Front St NE, just outside of Woodburn . Deputies responded along with Officer’s from Woodburn and Hubbard Police Departments. A short time later a victim was dropped off at an area hospital with a gun shot wound, which is a non-life threatening injury. Sheriff’s Detectives were called to the scene and are handling the investigation.
