Woodburn Resident Arrested for Threatening Utility Company Employees with Gun

Friday, August 4, 2023 – Woodburn, OR – On Friday, August 4, 2023, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Woodburn Police Department officers arrived at the 300 block of Olive Avenue in Woodburn on a report of a disturbance between a homeowner and a private utility company’s employees conducting permitted work in the right-of-way. During the investigation, officers learned that 60-year-old Woodburn resident Michelle Bradley had gotten into an argument with the employees and at one point brandished a handgun.

Bradley was arrested for menacing and transported to the Marion County Jail. During the argument Bradley identified herself as a City of Woodburn employee, however, she was off-duty and not performing city functions at the time of her arrest.
