[SALEM, OR] There are plenty of ways to save at the Oregon State Fair, kicking off on Friday August 25, and running through Labor Day, Monday, September 4.“The only thing better than Soaking up the Fun at the Oregon State Fair, is soaking up great deals on admission tickets, carnival rides, games, and parking,” said Kimberly Jacobsen, Oregon State Fair Spokesperson. “Fortunately, we offer plenty of opportunities to save before the Fair begins, and Discount Days on Fair Admission at the gate once it starts. Here are our Top Tips for Big Fair Savings.”
Advanced Discount Ticket Sales
Save on Pre-Sale Admission tickets with O’Reilly’s:
Until August 24, visit any O’Reilly Auto Parts to purchase Adult Fair Admission for $10 and Child Fair Admission for $8, with no service fees! That’s a $2 savings from Fair-time prices. Offer ends August 24. Learn more at an O’Reilly Auto Parts store near you!
Free Parking with Wilco:
Score a Free Parking Pass to the Oregon State Fair with any purchase at participating Wilco Farm Stores, while supplies last. One pass per family.
Pavilion Xfinity Fast Pass:
Buy a $10 Xfinity Fast Pass for the Pavilion event of your choice for guaranteed admission to that event and early access to the Pavilion. Pavilion events are free with Fair Admission while space is available. Fast Passes don’t include Fair Admission and are subject to availability.
$1 Senior Admission:
Seniors aged 65 or better can take advantage of $1 pre-sale admission when they purchase tickets online, with no service fees, until August 24, courtesy of Providence Medicare Advantage Plans.
Family Pack and 11 Day Pass Admission:
Family 4-Pack: $25 (now through August 24)
11 Day Pass: $25 (now through August 24), valid for one person for all 11 days of the Fair. Non-transferable, ID required for use.
Discount Days at the Gate
August 25: $5 Friday Admission, courtesy of Mattress Firm. $5 Opening Day tickets can only be purchased in person at the gates of the Oregon State Fair on Friday, August 25.
August 29: BOGO Day, courtesy of Legacy Pool and Spa! BUY one admission, GET one admission of equal or lesser value FREE. This deal is exclusively available in person at the gates on Tuesday, August 29.
August 30: Share at the Fair Day! The Marion Polk Food Share will collect non-perishable food donations like Peanut Butter, Tuna, Shelf Stable Milk, Fruit and Cereal. Bring two or more food donations that day to get $2 off your gate admission.
August 31: Kids Day! Children aged 12 and under enjoy free admission. Kids aged five and under are always admitted for free.
September 4: Heroes Day! Military, First Responders, Teachers, and their families receive free admission as a gesture of gratitude. Identification is not required.
Carnival Rides and Games Discounts
Monday-Friday Carnival Ride Wristband:
New this year! Beat the weekend rush and save $10 on a Blast Pass Wristband for unlimited carnival rides, three games, and a medium drink from carnival concessions. Wristbands are valid until 10:00 pm on the day of use and must be redeemed by 8:00 pm.
Pre-Fair Pre-Sale Carnival Rides and Games:
Purchase Carnival Ride Wristbands before Friday, August 25 and save.
Monday – Friday Wristband: $45 (on-site price – $60)
Saturday or Sunday Wristband: $55 (on-site price – $70)
125 Ticket Pack: $50 (on-site price – 120 ticket pack $50)
Carnival tickets can be purchased on the Fair website through Thursday, August 24, with no service fees. From August 25-September 4, tickets are available only at Carnival box office.
Fair-Time Admission Prices
When the Oregon State Fair begins on August 25, ticket prices increase:
Adult Admission (Ages 13-64): $12
Child Admission (Ages 6-12): $10
Kids (Ages 5 and under): FREE
Senior Admission (Ages 65 or better): $3
