On September 14, 2023, at about 3:25 a.m., The Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Arndt Road NE and Bents Road NE, Aurora. A semi-truck without a trailer was traveling northbound on Bents Road NE. The semi-truck then turned eastbound onto Arndt Road NE. A motorcycle traveling eastbound collided with the rear of the semi-truck. Sadly, the motorcycle rider, identified as Mr. Justin Brant, 35, of Aurora, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The roadway is back open, and the investigation is ongoing therefore there is no further information currently.
