DALLAS, Oregon (November 13th, 2023)
On February 16, 2023, Dallas Police responded to what was originally reported as an assault call in southwest Dallas. Further investigation showed a juvenile was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint by three individuals. The investigation continued as more witnesses and leads were uncovered. In July of 2023, this case was sent to detectives for further investigation and to locate the suspects, who lived in different cities.
Over time, detectives were able to locate and arrest the three suspects, as well as interview additional witnesses.
The following suspects were arrested:
Gabriel Firkins, an 18 year old male, was arrested and later indicted by a Polk County Grand Jury on the following charges: Robbery I, Robbery II, Assault III, Assault IV, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Coercion, and Menacing.
Seventeen year-old male – Lodged at Yamhill County Juvenile Detention on the following charges: Robbery I, Assault III, Criminal Conspiracy, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Menacing.
Sixteen year-old male – Referred to the Polk County Juvenile Department for the following charges: Criminal Conspiracy (To Commit Robbery I), Criminal Conspiracy (To Commit Assault III).
The Polk County District Attorney’s Office and Polk County Juvenile Department are prosecuting these cases. The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information about this investigation should contact Detective Jordan Schrock at 503-831-3516 and reference case #23-261.
