OR 229 at milepost 9, nine miles south of the intersection with U.S. 101, is closed in both directions due to high water.
Water levels have receded enough Wednesday morning to allow traffic through U.S. 101 between Seaside and the junction with U.S. 26. With heavy rain continuing throughout this week, we will continue to monitor the water level there and in other sections of highway in low elevations.
U.S. 101 and OR 6 remain closed due to high water in Tillamook, and local detours are still in place in those areas. If you travel along the Oregon coast, also Watch out for high water that may affect only part of a road or highway, closing lanes in some areas including Lincoln City.
