Marion Co. Sheriff’s Office – 12/11/23 1:44 PM
At about 10:45 a.m. this morning, December 11, 2023, Cascade School District staff notified the Marion County Sheriff’s Office that a bomb threat had been received. Deputies are onsite, as a safety precaution the district is coordinating evacuation of students.
At this time, no device(s) have been located and the investigation is ongoing. The Sheriff’s Office has requested assistance from the local FBI office to assist with investigating the threat.
The Cascade School District is notifying parents of evacuated students and will share information on impacts to school operations.
Due to this being an open investigation, no additional information is available at this time.
