Many Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles services will cost you more this year. The price increase went into effect January first. Officials say the fee increases were necessary in order to keep the DMV’s fees in line with the actual cost to deliver services. A class c non-commercial license renewal rose from 40 dollars to 54 dollars this year. You can see a list of fee increases at kykn.com.

Motorcycle and Moped Registration Period Changes
The registration period for all new motorcycles and mopeds will be two years, beginning Jan. 1, 2024.
