Winter Weather Advisory Remains in Effect Until 10 am Friday for Portland & Coast Range of Northwest Oregon

* WHAT…Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of around two tenths of an inch. Up to one third of an inch near the west end of the Columbia River Gorge. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…In Oregon, Coast Range of Northwest Oregon, Lower   Columbia, and Greater Portland Metro Area. In Washington, Greater Vancouver Area.

* WHEN…Until 10 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be difficult. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible power outages.
