Eagle Watch returns again for 2024! Join the City of Salem for Eagle Watch Program Training on Saturday, February 10. Training is in-person and organized in two parts.
Tech Training is from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Salem Public Library, Anderson Room A. Bring the smart device that you will use to monitor (a cell phone or a tablet). Learn and ask questions about our monitoring protocol while we go over the how-tos for the season.
On-Site Training is from noon to 2 p.m. Participants will meet at Minto Brown Island Park, parking lot #3. Wear good walking shoes and a rain jacket. Binoculars are required. Walk the trails, learn where the monitoring locations are, and ask questions.
