Winter Storm Warning Remains in Effect from 4 pm This Afternoon to 6 am Friday Above 1500 Feet

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected above 1500 feet. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 11 inches, except 12 to 24 inches above 2500 feet. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE…Northern Oregon Cascade Foothills, Northern Oregon Cascades, Cascade Foothills in Lane County, Cascades in Lane County and Upper Hood River Valley and along the Coast Range of Northwest Oregon and Central Coast Range of Western Oregon. 

* WHEN…From 4 PM this afternoon to 6 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
