City of Salem Seeking Development Partner for Premier Site

Salem, Ore. – The City of Salem is seeking a development partner for a premier site south of downtown Salem. The Block 45 lot is 1.1 acres and is located at the highly visible corner of Front Street SE, Trade Street SE and Commercial Street SE with views of downtown Salem, Pringle Creek, Riverfront Park and the Willamette River.

The property is situated between the South Waterfront Urban Renewal Area and the Riverfront Downtown Urban Renewal Area. It is zoned South Waterfront Mixed-Use where the ideal development will creatively fit the location and relationship to Riverfront Park and include mixed property uses of commercial, retail, office and housing.
