Two Mid-Valley Organizations Receive Grants from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust

Today, the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust published its Spring 2024 Grants Report. The report announces:

  • 82 total grants to Pacific Northwest nonprofits totaling $24,852,500.
  • This includes more than $7.2 million through 25 grants to nonprofits serving the Oregon community.
  • Two Mid-Willamette Valley nonprofits received awards they are
    • Bible Teaching Silverton who received $268,000 for facility renovations to serve youth and adults with camping programs
    • Santiam Memorial Hospital in Stayton who received $475,000 for emergency department renovation and expansion to increase capacity and improve patient experience.
