Okonite Manufacturing is a nationwide company that manufactures underground wiring for public utility companies. During the investigation, it was discovered that Mr. Cooper stole and resold over $1.2 Million in company inventory and equipment during his position as warehouse manager.
On October 18th, 2024, the case was presented to a Washington County Grand Jury and they indicted Mr. Cooper on the following charges:

- Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle – 2 Counts
Following the indictment, a Washington County Circuit Court Judge issued a Secret Indictment Arrest Warrant, which is still active. The whereabouts of Mr. Cooper have been unknown since the beginning of this investigation. Detectives are asking that if you have any information regarding Mr. Cooper’s whereabouts, to please email PIO@SherwoodOregon.gov and reference case 241130929.
We’d like to thank the Washington County District Attorney’s Office for their assistance in this case and no further information will be released at this time.
