Salem, Ore. – NFL Flag Football kicks off this spring in Salem. Teams for youths in grades 3-5 and 6-8 are planned. Mixed and girls’ team options are available.
The program is made possible thanks to a grant from Toyota of Portland on Broadway. The grant helps provide partial fee waivers for qualified Salem residents. NFL Flag Football will offer an added spring activity for youth and generate additional revenue for the City.
Practices begin the week of April 7 in various parks, excluding Riverfront and Bush’s Pasture parks. Games are held on Saturdays, April 19 through June 7 at the Wallace Marine Park soccer fields.
An NFL Flag Football team shirt and flags are included in the registration fee. All 32 NFL teams will be represented.
Coaches Needed
