Winter Storm Watch Remains in Effect from Late Tonight through Saturday afternoon

The Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11pm this evening 

For the north and central Oregon cascades, we have a Winter Weather Advisory for snow accumulations up to 3 to 6 inches until 11 this evening and a Winter Storm Watch for heavy snow is possible from late tonight through Saturday afternoon. Total snow accumulations up to one to two feet is possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

Have a winter emergency driving kit readily available. Common items to include flashlight, batteries, blankets, a shovel, water, non-perishable food items, tire chains, etc.

Be aware that walking surfaces may be slick. Walk with extra care.
