The Community Emergency Response Team program trains volunteers to assist their communities when a disastrous event overwhelms or delays the community’s professional response.
Classes are every Thursday evening (except the week of Memorial Day), 6-9 p.m., from April 24 through June 5 plus final graduation exercises Saturday, June 7, 8:30 a.m.-noon. Location: Salem Fire Department, Training Division, 2740 25th Street SE.
