Starting May 5, Oregon Department of Transportation crews will inspect the Center Street Bridge using a “snooper truck,” a vehicle that extends over and under the bridge for close-up views. Inspections will take four nights and include:
- Full closure of southbound Front Street.
- Left lane closure on northbound Front Street.
- Off-ramps to Front Street (northbound and southbound) closed for up to four nights each.
Expect up to two lanes closed on Center Street Bridge, as well as detours, noise and delays. This work prepares for the Center Street Bridge Seismic Retrofit Project, starting next year. Learn more and sign up for state updates
