The Salem Police Department recently launched a new online reporting system. Use the system to quickly report non-emergency crimes in which the identity of the suspect is unknown, such as a theft from a vehicle, vandalism or identity theft.
Three quick tips for using the system:
- Have a current email address and phone number ready to enter when prompted. Your contact info is essential for notifications.
- Before you begin, gather your thoughts about the incident, such as the date and time or a list of items stolen.
- Have any case-related image or video files ready for upload when prompted.
