Whether you’re strolling downtown or exploring trails, remember that dogs must be leashed in parks—unless you’re in a designated off-leash area. Here are a few great spots to visit with your pup:

Riverfront Park (200 Water St. NE): 26 acres with trails and bridges that connect to Minto-Brown Island Park and Wallace Marine Park.

Minto-Brown Island Park (2200 Minto Island Rd. SE): 29 miles of trails in nine loops and a 30-acre off-leash dog area.
