FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — Cultural organizations serving Marion and Polk counties are taking a leading role in a popular regional benefit program that returns for its ninth year in 2026. The Northwest Attractions Alliance will again offer reciprocal admission benefits, allowing members of participating attractions to enjoy free admission across Oregon and southwest Washington.
Locally, Salem-based institutions including Deepwood Museum & Gardens and the Willamette Heritage Center are featured in the April 2026 schedule, highlighting the important role Marion- and Polk County–area organizations play in preserving regional history, culture, and education.
From January through December 2026, a membership at any participating attraction provides free admission for one member and up to three guests of any age to designated attractions each month. The program has grown significantly since its launch, expanding from 12 organizations to 29 participating attractions across the region.
Alliance leaders say memberships provide critical funding that allows museums, gardens, and heritage centers to continue their missions while strengthening ties between cultural organizations and the communities they serve. Officials encourage residents to consider purchasing or gifting memberships as a way to support local institutions while enjoying year-round educational experiences.
The reciprocal admission offer applies to all membership levels. Visitors must present valid proof of membership and photo identification at participating attractions.
