A flood watch is now in effect for the Pudding River at Aurora from Saturday afternoon through late Monday evening. Forecasters say flooding is possible, with the river expected to reach flood stage by Monday morning. As of 8 a.m. Thursday, the river was at 10-point-6 feet. Flood stage is 22 feet. If the river rises above that level, minor flooding is expected in low-lying agricultural lands and on access roads along the river. Residents are urged to monitor conditions and be prepared for possible flooding.
