Join the City of Salem to learn about the Salem Safe Streets for All Action Plan!
In 2023, the Salem City Council adopted a Vision Zero goal, aiming to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries in the next decade. As a critical step towards achieving that goal, the City secured a $2.8 million grant for the development of a Safe Streets for All Action Plan, which will guide the City’s investments and priorities for improving traffic safety, as well as other related initiatives.
City staff will discuss the action plan and receive community feedback at three upcoming events:
- Tuesday, June 9, 4-6:30 p.m. at Center 50+
- Wednesday, June 9, 4-6:30 p.m. at the Salem Public Library’s West Salem branch
- Tuesday, June 23, 4-6:30 p.m. at the Salem Public Library’s main branch
