The Salem-Willamette Valley Airport will host a public open house on Wednesday, June 17, from 4:30-6 p.m. in the airport’s Terminal Lobby, 2990 25th Street SE, to share development concepts for the future of the airport and provide an update on the ongoing Master Plan.
The Master Plan serves as the Airport’s 20-year blueprint for the future layout, improvement and development of airport facilities. The study provides updated information about current conditions and identifies potential projects that will enhance safety, support long term operational needs and contribute to regional economic development.
The public is invited to meet with the City of Salem staff and the consultant team to learn about the study, review development concepts, ask questions and provide feedback. The meeting will be held in an open house format, allowing attendees to drop in at any time during scheduled hours.
