SALEM, Ore. — On July 29, 2026, James K. Lucas, 58, of Salem, was sentenced to 168 months in the Oregon Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to five separate robberies committed in 2024 across the Salem area. His convictions include multiple counts with firearm-related enhancements.
The robberies occurred at five separate locations in northeast Salem between June and December in 2024.
We extend special thanks to the victims for their patience and cooperation as detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit worked diligently to resolve these cases. We also thank Marion County District Attorney Paige Clarkson and her staff for their continued partnership and commitment to ensuring offenders are held accountable.
