The fourth national No Kings protest is expected to draw large crowds to the Capitol on Saturday as organizers urge people to cast their votes in the midterm elections.
The Salem Reporter says Salem’s demonstration is one of over 2,500 events happening across the country. The local protest is organized by Salem Region Indivisible and starts at the Capitol Mall, 900 Court St., at 10 a.m. Organizers expect up to 1,000 attendees.
