Salem officials are working toward a more coordinated approach to homelessness, shelter and housing services. City Manager Krishna Namburi has outlined a plan to bring local governments and community organizations together to identify gaps in services and develop a shared strategy. According to the Salem Reporter, City council work sessions are part of the process as Salem continues to address the needs of people living unsheltered and the concerns of surrounding neighborhoods.
