It is with great sadness that Mike Frith, Owner/GM of 1430 KYKN has passed into Glory on Friday, May 14th, 2021. Mike was a visionary, changing 1430 KYKN from an AM country music station to one of the few Talk Radio stations in the country, which included the late, great Rush Limbaugh. Mike served our country well in the Air Force, being stationed in Turkey during the Cold War in the Air Force intelligence division. His faith in God and Savior Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of his life. He was a great husband, father and friend to many and he will be missed greatly at 1430 KYKN and throughout our local community. Enjoy Paradise Mike Frith… and we WILL see you again!
