Sandy Haines will be performing and guiding us in line dancing at the Red, White, and Boots VETcare Benefit Gala!
Sandy Haines is a proud mother of three and a loving grandmother of two. Though she tragically lost her son in February of 2022, her strength and spirit continue to shine through her daughters—now 25 and 29—who have each blessed her with a grandchild. Her grandson is 8 (soon to be 9!), and her granddaughter was born this past Memorial Day, making the holiday even more meaningful.
Sandy discovered her love for line dancing about 15 years ago. What began as a way to get moving and out of the house quickly turned into a full-on passion. She dove headfirst into lessons, learning dance after dance and mastering the lingo that initially tripped her up. While life has slowed her pace a bit—especially after getting married just over three years ago—her boots are always ready when the music starts.
Sandy is honored to be part of this event supporting our veterans. With a family history rich in military service—including her brother, father, uncles, and current brother-in-law—she holds deep gratitude for the sacrifices made by so many. Tonight, she dances in celebration and appreciation of them all.
