Terry discussed the early days of the project, from volunteers showing up on day one to remodeling the building, setting up a machine-equipped tool shop, and receiving generous support from the community. The entire operation is volunteer-managed, and new volunteers and teachers are always needed to help preserve this piece of aviation history for future generations.

🎂 We also wished Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas a happy 78th birthday.

🛶 Ben Roche called in with an update on the Let Us Paddle campaign. While the petition ultimately fell short of gathering enough signatures to qualify for the ballot, Ben shared that the effort sparked tremendous awareness and support across Oregon. He outlined plans to keep the movement alive through future advocacy and legislative efforts aimed at addressing the state’s permit requirements and fees affecting watercraft users.

We discussed what may be one of the most honest political videos of the year and reflected on the importance of free speech and civic engagement.

🚨 President Trump announced that six people have been arrested and seven cited for allegedly vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, reportedly using knives and box cutters to damage the liner.

🔥 In Oregon, the Bend City Council approved a climate pollution fee on natural gas appliances in newly constructed homes, prompting a broader conversation about energy policy and affordability.

😳 We also reacted to a viral video from a women’s “anger retreat,” where participants screamed and punched pillows as part of a five-day program. Needless to say, we had thoughts.

😂 Finally, we wrapped up with a laugh courtesy of The Babylon Bee:

Their satire sparked a broader discussion about what makes America unique—and why sometimes it takes outsiders to remind us what we have.

A wide-ranging show about preserving history, defending traditions, protecting liberty, and appreciating the blessings of America.
