Salem Mayor Chuck Bennett is one of our favorite regular guests and we were delighted to have him in the studio today to talk about what’s happening in Salem – the good and the not-so-good. Later in the show, Denise and Hunter welcomed Kathy Scheel, Director of the Oregon Spirit Chorus, who shared her passion for singing and let us know about the World Singing Day event at Riverfront Park in Salem. This is a special day each year on the 3rd Saturday in October when people all over the world gather in groups of all sizes to sing all kinds of songs to celebrate our common humanity.
