There’s great news at Oregon State University. The Meningococcal disease outbreak is over! A full year has passed since the last related case was diagnosed. The disease mainly attacks young people, often in crowded living conditions. The Corvallis Gazette-Times says Oregon State recorded five cases of the same strain of the potentially deadly disease over a 12-month span beginning in November of last year.
