The Monmouth Police Department and Oregon Impact have partnered to make the roadways in Monmouth safer this holiday season. The Monmouth Police Department was awarded a grant from Oregon Impact, which is a prevention and educational non-profit entity in Oregon. The grant provides overtime funds to detect and arrest impaired drivers, with the goal of reducing the negative impact the impaired driver can have on others. The campaign will run from Thursday, December 13th through Wednesday January 2nd.
