The Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish and Wildlife Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for shooting and leaving three cow elk in Tillamook County. On January 12, 2019, OSP Fish and Wildlife Troopers from the Tillamook and Newport offices responded to the scene. The investigation revealed three cow Elk were shot and killed with a high caliber rifle and were left to waste in a clear-cut approximately 2.5 miles from Highway 6 on Fox Creek Road. Troopers were able to gather evidence from the scene.
