During this Super Bowl weekend the Salem Police Department, along with other agencies throughout the state, will be working with MADD to conduct specialized DUII (Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants) patrols.
These patrols will be funded through grants from Oregon Impact and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
Every year in America numerous people are killed because of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Due to the harm caused by DUII drivers, the Salem Police Department takes these patrols and investigations seriously.
