Marion County Fire District One officials say Mattress World Northwest on Lancaster Drive NE suffered heavy fire and smoke damage Saturday morning. The second-alarm fire at the Salem strip mall near the corner of Lancaster Drive NE and Auburn Road NE took about 3 hours to find and control the blaze that was running in the roofing truss system.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
