Salem Police say they will continue their specialized patrols to target those who are driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Funded by operation impact, as an agency in in February, Salem Police arrested 41 people for driving under the influence and issued nine minor in possession of alcohol citations. There were also 158 citations issued for driving while suspended, 122 for speeding, 26 for seatbelt violations, 22 for distracted driving and one-thousand-161 citations and warning for various other offenses.
