A major crash early this morning has resulted in at least one fatality and has closed all lanes of northbound Salem Parkway. The road will be closed for a law enforcement investigation and reconstruction. The closure is at Cherry Avenue. There is no detour around the closure. Travelers should avoid the area, use an alternative route or expect long delays.
